The ticketing agency Ticketlink was established in 1995 and is operated by Cairns Regional Council. The box office origins date back to 1974 with tickets sold to events at the former Cairns Civic Theatre. The Ticketlink box office is now located in the new Cairns Performing Arts Centre.
